to me this is Coyne at his best. Every song a gem
Agree
I really love my vinyl of this one.
In my Coyne's top 3 albums.
My dear friend:
First of all congratulations. You're doing a great job making peple know the music of such genius an extraordinary poet as Kevin Coyne. He left a rich legacy in words and sounds that deserve to be known by many.
I do have a suggestion although... you better think I am begging because that what I am about to do..
Please chenge to zshare or rapidshare.. I will tell you why...
Megaupload doesn't work in southamerica (and I guess in other parts of the world) unless you install the Megaupload Toolbar which is an annoying thing (and a piece of spyware)
That's why you are receiving all those comments in portuguese from Brazil or in spanish from somewhere else in latinamerica.
I am in Venezuela myself and I do NEED more kevin albums.
Could you re-upload at least the official ones? "Legless in Manila", etc...
Thanks indeed...
First of all ,..congratulations..you are doing a great job by making people know the music of a genius such as Kevin Coyne.
His legacy lives thru people like you who understand what he left for us during his career.
Thanks indeed.
I do have a request or suggestion..
this is it:
Megaupload doesn't work in Latinamerica unless you install the "Megaupload Toolbar" which is annoying and, I think, a piece of spyware.
This is why you're getting those commenst in spanish or portuguese.
I am in venezuela myself and I can't get the albums.
Could you at least re-upload some of them.. the official ones maybe?
I have been lokking for Legless in Manila for some time.
Anyway thanks again for your great work about Kevin..I am sure he sees you..and he smiles...
Dear friend I've explained why megaupload :
http://unitedsounds.blogspot.com/search?q=why+megaupload
Got a lot problems with lines here and uploading breaks often - only MU resume broken uploadings.
But would be nice if fast users re-up on other hosts and post links in comments.
Hope you'll find a way to get Kevin's albums.
Cheers
Thanks a lot. I have this album, but it has some scratches and I don't play as many records as I used to anymore. I;ll be sure to play this though.
As always extremely beautiful, the naked voice of him raises my hair up & goes straight to my heart. We're in debt with you, Poor.
What a great piece of work this blog is to honour one of the best musicians ever!
I downloaded a couple of albums today - no problems at all - except this one is not available anymore and I am not in South America. Is it my mistake or would a fresh up of the link also be apreciated by others?
Anyway, thank you, Poor, for all the wealth you share!
Yes the link is dead !
Will re-up soon.
Cheers
Oh no! This link is dead again?!
No, just checked,
LINK IS ALIVE
and in very good condition !
Cheers
Poor
You're my hero!! :D I finally found this album! Thanks!! Thanks a lot!! I love you! <3
Megaupload doesn't work in Hong Kong either. I would really appreciate it if you could upload to a more friendly service like Rapidshare.
Hello there! This blog is awesome... an amazing labour of love. Thanks especially for some great live sets and for this fantastic record: I've been looking for it with no luck for years and years: Kevin's poetry and human qualities shine on the acoustic songs... another confirmation of his unique & unforgotten talent.
I'm working with Kevin Hewick right now (who toured with Coyne & contributed to a tribute cd) and he told me how wonderful the man was in person!
Keep up the great blog-job!

Hi,
I have just discovered this brilliant blog. However, mst of the links are now dead. Is there any chance that they can be re-established, especially Beautiful Extremes, Let's Have a Party, Babble, Bursting Bubbles and Matching Head and Feet.
Beautiful Extremes - will be re-uped,
Let's Have a Party - will be re-uped,
Babble - will be re-uped,
Bursting Bubbles - links are working,
Matching Head and Feet - it's available album now, will not be re-uped
Cheers
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it. I got a bit overexcited when I found the site and didn't look carefully enough. I see there is a second set of links to Bursting Bubbles. Cheers!!
Beautiful Extremes etc @ 320
Hi,
I'm so overjoyed!!!
It's been a long time since I've heard it and now I can play it again (still have to at this moment).
This was (is?) one of my all-time favourite albums!
Always thought it such a shame it wasn't available on CD.
You can hear his character come through in the songs - intense and personal.
Thanks very much!
